Me and my group are currently making a beat and something seems to be missing and i was wondering if anyone knew where i could get a sample of a cheering crowd and audience that could play for awhile that i could load in to fruityloops or add later in cool edit pro 2.0. My keyboard has the a crowd sound but I don't own the midi cables to link up my cpu and my keyboard.

if u have an rca chord, you could play it from your keyboard record it through sound recorder on te computer and put it through to fruity loops.

Hey,
You don't need midi cables to trigger sounds from your keyboard!
Simply connect the audio outputs of the keyboard to the audio inputs of your soundcard, hit record in Cool Edit, then hit one of the keys on your keyboard...the crowd sound will play from the keyboard into your computer and get recorded into Cool Edit.
Once saved as a wav file, you can add the sound to your tracks.
Take care,
Nick

Cool, thanks
you can also just search the web for something like crowd.wav and a bunch will come up im sure...that's what i do...like if i want a whale sound i search "whale.wav" or a fart "fart.wav", sometimes other weird shit comes up, but hope this helps...

i humbly recommend either a live comedy album, or a live rock album.
a cool aspect of a "crowd" sound on vinyl is you can let it play to suit the part in your song, maybe as a reply to your own vocals, and take the same sound and cut it up. the static clapping is good to transform with, and if there are hoots and hollers like "whoo", theyre good to scratch.
