^ditto
but from what i've seen,it looks real nice. especially accurate tempo thing. when you're doing remixes, and you realise your acapella is really at like 90.730 bpm rather than just having to like 90 or 91, it makes real easy to match the beat up with the vocals

i was missing some options like "smart disable all effects", which are very important for me using an old computer. as i already said i guess it is best to wait some months until they have released a more stable version.

Actually, smart disable is still an option in FL Studio. In fact, I don't think anything is missing. Smart Disable is now on the mixer window. Click the icon in the top left corner and you'll see Smart Disable there. If you're looking for the old effects that use to be on the sampler window, go into your general settings and one of them should be enable legacy effects.
Interesting how I hear people talking about having problems with FL Studio messing up songs. It hasn't messed any of mine up. I've been using FL since version 1.6 I believe. I'm very happy with the improvements on it now. Every new version has only given me more options and I guess I've been one of the few fortunate ones not to have any additional problems associated with upgrading.

The samples don't work on the demo version.

can anyone tell me how to insert a blank pattern in the playlist? move the arrangment to the left? in 3.56 it was as easy as hitting insert. won´t work anymore. i am getting seriously pissed at the programmers for leaving out all kinds of handy shortcuts

to move the arrangement to the left (or right) you can highlight the selection by holding down the control button and draging the mouse over the selection you want to move.
Then release the control button and hols the shift button then click on the selection and move it left or right.
Hope this helps.

That's great, but ummm, my webhost doesn't allow that kind of talk, which could get IllMuzik shut down.

Go to Start->Programs-> FL Studio 4-> Advanced-VorbisACM Installation.
This will open a folder. Look for the "vorbisacm.inf" file. Right click it and hit install.
This will install the OGG Vorbis Codec required to play the files.
