Keyboard sounds

I need to use some sounds from my keyboard on my computer.

What's the easiest (cheapest?) way to hook this up?

right now I'm only fucking around with a midi-cable that doesn't even work 100% correctly...

If you want to have an actual audio file from your keyboard, just get a wire to connect from the outs of your keyboard (or mixer) to the line in on your sound card. Get a program like cool edit or sound forge and record it from there. Also check fade's article section, theres instructions there too if needed!

Actually, It still doesn't work... But I know this studio technician that'll probably be able to fix it for me... But for some reason he doesn't pick up...

Eventually i'll get it though...
