mpc 2xl, +korg triton, and cpu situation

alrite am new to the world of production.
trying to get all of this equipment set up properly.
now i got an mpc 2xl off ebay.
all i have for the mpc is the bare mpc2xl, and the power cord.
i downloaded the manual and am reading it every day so often.

my friend has a korg triton and we are trying to get both to communicate with each other properly.

and on top of that mess i have a cpu that am sure would help me out in anyway to get this production on the proper track.

question is does the mpc2xl requiere anything else?
also how would i go about connecting all of this?
and i do not have a sound card.
but i do have a digidesign oo1 with pci card + pro tools on the computer.
if anyone can help please do so.

yo will need some midi chords to hook the korg and mpc up together but check this thread out about midi should be able to help you.

lol class yea i searched for it, i knew you had a thread on midi so i found that one but its another one to about hookin up 2 sound racks to the mpc but i can't find it
