I have a MPC 2000XL and want to buy a SCSI to USB cable to the PC.
Does anyone use this cable and if so, how does the PC recognize the MPC? Is there software for the MPC or Drivers?? Please let me know ASAP. I want to buy this cable tomorrow.
Thx, BeatzByBuddy! Back in the studio this weekend..

It won't work. The PC won't have any drivers to read the MPC as a device. Good idea, but not possible.

I have my mpc 2000xl connected to my computer via scsi card. I load my stuff right out of my computer from all 4 drives. I have them all daisy chained inside the computer. Is there such a thing as a scsi to usb cable? I had been looking for something like that myself to try to see if it would work. But I believe Sizzahands & Class are right that coming out of the usb port would not work because there are no driver's and windows won't recognize the MPC as anything.
