Maschine Extras

What's great about this is that Native Instruments listened to their customers. They saw that many Maschine users were customizing their controllers with faceplates and custom built stands.

Maschine Stand

One of the downsides of the Maschine controller was that since it's flat, it's hard to look at the display without straining your neck. I like to prop mine up with something underneath but it's not completely stable.

Maschine Stand

Now NI has released a stand that fits perfectly for both the first generation of Maschine and the new MK2 version. It's aluminum with a black anodized finish with rubber pads for a non-slip grip so that it will hold your controller in place. It even has a Mounting Adapter that can be used with standard drum hardware. This is great new for anyone like myself that badly needs something to elevate the controller for better use.

Maschine Faceplates

The other great addition is custom faceplates. With these kits, you can now make your controller look much different than the regular black. They're made of light and resilient aluminum and each kit contains a magnetic faceplate plus a set of colored knobs, plus a cap remover so you don't have to struggle taking them off.

Maschine Faceplates

They come in 5 colors so far (I'm not sure if NI plans on making other colors in the future): Solid Gold, Dragon Red, Pink Champagne, Smoked Graphite, and my favorite - Steel Blue. They all look great and it's good to know that it will replace the cover, not just cover it with an adhesive.
