Well it looks like the long awaited 1.8 update for Maschine is finally here! As of this writing, it hasn't been officially announced yet, but if you look at the updates section of their site, version 1.8.1 is listed and ready for you to download. I don't see the free Massive download listed, but NI says everyone will receive an email in a day or two with a link.

I installed mine and took a quick look, so far, so good. I'll be messing with it more later today after I scan through the manual and see what kind of changes have been made.

All of this, of course, is for those that already own Maschine. The MK2 version controller won't be out until October 1st but you can pre-order it now.

UPDATE: According to Kier at NI: "You'll be getting an email about (Massive) in the next 48 hours - might also be worth keeping an eye on your spam folder just in case it accidentally ends up there."
