The MiniNova is a 37-key compact synthesizer that is great for both the studio and a live performance. It comes with the same sound engine as the UltraNova, and packs 256 onboard sounds that can be tweaked with 5 knobs and 8 animate buttons.
Since it's in the "nova" family, it has a powerful sound engine as well as synth effects, giving you the chance to once again create dirty-fat bass, leads, pads, and vintage synth sounds. The MiniNova has vocal effects included, such as the vocoder and VocalTune. What's great about this feature is that you can talk into the microphone and then play the tune you want your voice to follow on the keyboard! It's not just for your voice though, there's also an input so you can plug any instrument into it and do the same thing with the effects.
It contains 256 onboard sounds, but you can also add up to 128 of your own sounds, then quickly search by style of music or type of sound. There's also a free Patch Librarian software so you can store as many sounds as your computer can handle. Novation also has many sound packs that you can get, and add them to your library.

The Novation MiniNova will be available in October
