Reason users can now add the Radical Piano Rack Extension to their productions, which brings a wide range of piano sounds to both Reason and Reason Essentials. They've included sampled pianos and physical modeling synthesis, giving you a lightweight and authentic instrument that contain concert grand pianos and even old living room uprights.
High-end microphones were used to capture the true piano sounds from a deluxe grand, home grand, and an upright piano. There are lots of presets included so that piano players can be ready for any situation and every song will be instantly available with no loading time. You can also use selectable microphone blends and velocity response, as well as tweakable mechanical noise.
If you're the type that likes to tweak your sounds, well now you can do so by simply turning the knob to change the tonal characteristics of each piano, going from a mellow performance to an in-your-face style that takes over a track. There's also an audio input so that you can route your audio through it, such as a drum loop or some vocals, so they can be played together.
Price: $99 USD
