It's always great to be able to use a new software tool to help create some dope productions, and your workflow can't be overlooked. XLN Audio has released Addictive Keys, a program where you can use different virtual keyboard instruments.
You can mix and match different microphone perspectives, this way your sound can be as unique as you would like it to be. You also have the ability to add professional effects and advanced envelopes, and it comes with lots of presets. There's natural sounding keys as well as stuff that is just weird.
A great feature of Addictive Keys is the Memo Recorder. Let's say you're playing something, just coming up with ideas and then you suddenly have something that sounds great - just hit the Memo Record button and the performance plus the exact settings of the plug-in will be saved instantly.
They've also set up MyCloud so that you can easily sync your computers. If you have a computer in your studio that you're working on and want to have all your files, presets, and memos available on your home computer, then you can store everything on MyCloud and the problem is solved.
Price: Studio Collection ($179 USD), Instruments ($49 USD), Studio Grand (Free)
