My '97 keyboard began collecting dust when beginning to make beats on FL Studio 2.56 in 2001! Once the Stanton STR-80 turntable came into play, the digging in the crate began for vinyl samples. The next MIDI controller for production was an MPD24 with Reason 5.
Pro Tools 8 then had him get into mastering in '09. Eventually the Yamaha was connected to the MPD to trigger dozens of samples. When Ableton Live came along, things got much easier for his production and saved him lots of time from sampling with an APC40...
His MIDI production didn't fully come back for an entire song until 2012. In 2014 he traded a crate of records for a AxiomPro61.
Now in 2019 He's all about Ableton Live 10 Suite, still sampling and using Spectrasonics Omnisphere.
