    sampling drums?

    i usually sample in mono 2 save disc space ....but do u guys sample in stereo 4 kik's.snares.hi's etc....

    inserting cues???

    u no when u do a [no gaps] mixetape & u burn it 2 cd with cues between songs so u can skip 2 next song!!!on cd player....r u able 2 do that in sound forge 8 ???

    mixing down to 2 tracks...left & right

    can someone tell us what db the mixdown should b at ...left & right master channels.cause i heard it's something like -14 db? & then its ready 4 mastering.

    resetting levels when tracking a beat

    after creating a beat on my mpc & now ready to track that stuff to my cumputer ...does that mean i have to reset all levels back up again ???so that they get into my computer nice & strong(signal)which would mean i would have to set them all over again ..or could each track get recorded the...

    EQ overall question?

    hows it!!can you help with ??just wondering if your supose to set eqs tuned on outboard mixer {which carries on signal to spkrs}or do you create your beat with eqs tuned to how you like it in eg...reason software.. with eqs on outboard mixer at unity gain....do you know what i mean?thanx...

    master?before or after vocals?

    i was wondering do you wait for the vocals until you master up a beat so that you could set the freq's of the beat around the vocals???or do ya have that in mind when making your beat?any thouhts on that!!!
