MB - the beat is cool...I think a little too repetitive, maybe some more drops of the sample or some chops in between, the sample is very evident and that's what makes it sound repetitive.

Mike Black-Basic but cool! That's how u work on your timing for when u increase your chp count. Good foundation.

Sucio-Nice synth work my friend. Clean up the mix and make the synth sounds a little more "sparkly" and Justin Tim might freak this.

Sucio-the synth is crazy, blended nicely. This is like somethin off a DJ Khaled album. Get that proper mixdown and your golden bro.

Good intro, but when the beat drops it needs to instantly switch it up to something totally different. It drags alittle bit too, turn the tempo up, or get some action happening in there!

The switch up in the intro is slightly awkward. You def need a good mix on this. Thats all the creative criticism, you got enough happening.

edit: you need some extra sounds during the 2nd half of the verse. The energy of the production plateaus after 8 or 10 bars

and yes...this was a really rough mix....

I have an updated version of the beat, I just never posted it up....Don't want to put stuff on there that's really mixed well.....

And yes...it was all done on Maschine...synths and drums....


I did some switching up on the instruments.... I can't believe how easy knowing ONE chord could be enough for a record....it's crazy.....

@Mike black i dig it. it does get repetitive but the feel of it is smooth and the transitions are tight, i'd add some breaks and maybe some more samples. Other then that I think the over all sound is crisp. good mix on it

@Sucio this is sick! it's like a synth orchestra. it does loose a bit of it's momentum as it goes but if some one was rapping on it I think i'd be dope as is with a better mix.

this are two beats that I've been working on. They both are in a similar vain and have some of the same samples, I can't decide what I like more.

I know the melody's kinda missin, but I dont really know how to make any good melodies yet, it'll come hopefully.

For all the rest you guys are killin it you got some nice beats around hear, I especially liked aBeatBraker's Wizard, great track man.
