    ... one of the problems with my mpc not working in reason was firmware and drivers. also make sure you add it as a control surface and not as a midi controller/keyboard or something.

    Sample length in reason

    .... I think if you are trying to use it as I do (pressing each pad plays assigned sample to the end even if you let go until you press another pad, and so on). In this case you should turn the Release all the way up, and then turn 'Note' down to 1 (to prevent notes overlapping). Peace

    ^thanks...but I'm looking for some screen shots of peoples settings. It makes it much more practical to learn. I know I can tweak drums but I dont wanna be spending an hour or two doing that each time I make a beat. I want it to be roughly set to how I want it from the jump.
