could have bought nice records from these 70 dollars and watched some youtube movies plenty of em on there and browse to the quickstart guide would get you off the ground very quickly as well. But if you prefer this way that will also work :) most important is that you enjoy working on the mpc. -

how can you become good at finding samples and sounds if you are too lazy to read the manual. sorry but this annoyes me, you bought the machine because you want to do something with it, i guess you did some research first and not just bought it like it's shoes. Hot shit won't appear instantly... -
JJ OS for 2500 link ?
true, the os 2.0 frozed a lot in the first few weeks i had my mpc, and when i upgraded to jj's os it has not frozen a single time. I have it for like 6 months now, and the latest version is incredible. You can edit the bitrate and the samplerate :) It looks alot better 2, and surely works alot... -

working man, that's all i can say, it can be a pain in the ass with money adding up really slow, especially if your young like me, can't earn shit and it takes really long. But you sure will be much more motivated because it shows it's something you really want. -

Mixing in Audition 2
i level em all to 0 db, or a bit less, or add a hardlimiter on -0.1 db on each track so it won't clip. Then lower the master channel until the master won't clip. so that one might be on like -4/5 db sometimes. And then just lower the channels you want to have less amped in the mix, and... -

yeah? do they perform well compared to the krk rp6's? or better the rp6s? i'm going to buy some monitors 2 soon. -

Soundcards
It's for recording beats made on the mpc 1000, so i need at least 6 chanels + 2 for my mixer/turntable for scratches, i dont want to switch cables so that why i planned buying an 1010LT, so i can use it with protools.
