I mix in FL, like open mind said its the quality of the samples and effects. I compose, then sequence the patterns, assign every thing to its own mixer insert, then I export to WAV and split the mixer mixer tracks. After I have tracked it out I reimport the audio and mix. It sounds...- NobleWordz

I have 'The Art Of Mixing', its very clear and precise with good illustrations. If you have a basic understanding of mixing you will get more from the book because you will already understand the terminology and some of the theory behind mixing. ~NW~- NobleWordz

Gradually changing the pitch of a sample
Arrange it in the piano roll. Click the pull down menu and chose "channel pitch", you can then draw the pitch in the bottom of the piano roll. This is hard to explain so I have attached a screen shot. Hope that helps. ~NW~- NobleWordz
