    I mix at like justa chill volume. But i will turn down my mix quite quiet because you then might notice certain things disappear, like the balance no longer feels right. I then turn it back to normal levels make adjustments and turn back down again to check.

Had the music realllllllly quiet, EQd the bass out etc. Mixed and produced on my monitors like that for a bit, before switching to headphones.     I simultaneously agree and don't with this. As i also had some of the thought myself. I mean... each person is gonna make something (hopefully) in a way they feel is Olympic worthy. But then the people voting who are looking to vote for something Olympic sounding may also have their own idea...
