    You *MUST* use the sample. It should be clear you've used it too. * Using vocal is optional but allowed. (To any extent). (*Doesn't have to be overly blatant i think but just so people aren't usinf half a second at the start and uploading some random beat.) This is my understanding at least.

    Sounds like he had a drum loop, and he kinda chopped into sections that had kick + a couple hats, then placed it to work with the guitar. I dunno if he already had his drums made, and then had to change 'em to fit the guitar or what. I'd assume tho if you programmed your drums you wouldn't...

    A lot of these vocal track allowed can be a bit off putting. Not easy to find acapellas in the same BPM and Key signature as your beat, not only that they then have to suit and fit your beat. Not even easy to find decent acapellas. Seen a lot of fire beats lose out just because some halfassed...
