    The first year I think it was, we were using realplayer files for Beat This. Years later I converted them to mp3. It was a good format at the time but compared to today just awful audio quality.

    MP3 is much more common and reliable within the browser, plus the HTML player doesn't support FLAC. Hey at least it's not Real Player files (.rm remember those?!?) from 20 years ago!
