Thickening piano sounds
I've been working on this big epic pianoey thing, just using a vst, but the piano sound is really thin, and doesn't have much power behind it. Anyone got any ideas for how to get a decent fat sound on keys? -

Best Band/Artist Names Ever?
Well seeing all of your aka's I was wondering what you all think are the best names for bands or artists. My vote has to go for a rap group I saw on a website, called (get this) Cunninglynguists. Never heard any of the music (no doubt you all know them) but for the name alone they got my vote...- boneyboys

The right drum sounds
A massively frequent comment I get in the showcase is that I've got the wrong drum sounds for the track and so I've come to the conclusion that I couldn't tell a decent kit if it spanked me on the arse and called me Julie. Hummmm So can anyone give me a bit of an overview of how you work out... -
Fast beats
Now, theres only so many jazz samples out there so I guess I oughta expand a little but whenever I go say 95bpm plus (ooh the speed is killing me! Make it stop) I can't make a drum rhythm to save my life. Any tips? But not too many, I'll end up sounding like Dre on acid :p -
Accents on drum rolls
Any tips on how to get a decent snare roll. If i just use the snare over and over it sounds real mechanical, and I've tried just changing volumes a little but that doesn't seem to give the effect really so does anyone know how to get the accent and real hardness of hit onto certain parts
