Good samples. Well EQ'd drums and cutted samples. Well balanced bass and good mixdown. That is not so complicated but you just need to concentrate and learn those things. There are several good links at my page where you can find your tutorials pretty quick. -
How do you feel about sampling MP3?
Mainly from mp3's but there are some exceptions I have ripped from vinyl. -

Better vocals in FL studio?
First off you need to use Edirol to record properly with FL Studio. Put Edirol on your recording channel on mixer and start recording on Edirol. You will also need to learn how to EQ and Compress atleast. -

Samples ? Sounds? What do yall use?
If you need good samples you can always make them yourself or buy from loopmasters or place like that. If you don't want to waste your time to those kind of things you can always try some DAW's with good default sample library. I have a lot of good tips at my page which is in my sig.
