How do you make your bassline?

3 ways. Bass stab 16 notes, motif bass, or live 4 string bass. Those are my 3 options and I like using the live bass the most.

Kanye West when he was starting out

Yeah I remember this pic online back in 2003. The mpc 2000 and what looks like the vs1680(in a reverse shot). If you are talented, you can make great music from anything. I knew a guy that made the hottest beats with a djx keyboard and roland drum machine midi together.

JACK THE RIPPER AND RIP THE JACKER

After "let's go" the battle was over. lol. "Death blow" came after "to the break of dawn". It wasn't even needed. I remember people quoting the double L breakdown, I don't remember too many people quoting "jack the ripper" or "to the break of dawn". LL had his chance to battle KMD on stage as...

JACK THE RIPPER AND RIP THE JACKER

Actually KMD was serving LL something serious in the 80s. "let's go" and "Death Blow"(which followed "how ya like me now" ) should have been a nail in the coffin, but Def Jam is such a powerful machine. JACK THE RIPPER AND RIP THE JACKER

It was really one sided. You have up and coming mc Canibus destroying LL on wax, but LL's popularity and Canibus' inability to pick hot beats had people saying it was competitive. I love LL Cool J, but he's one of the most overrated battle mcs of all time. 'Rip the Jacker' was an old fashioned...

    Im about to buy...

Yes standton st150 are great. Don't get the straight arm, they will wear your records out fast. You can set up the curved arm St150 just like an SL 1200 to not skip. It requires skill as well.

I have to get my tonearms replaced on my techs. I don't even use them anymore. I just keep them in the cases and stored away. I'm gonna get them fixed and hook them up soon so I can have 2 sets to go back and forth on.

    Just found this site.

I did a search on SL 1200 and ST150. I read that you got one last year. Congrats. I've been the owner of techs and other turntables for years and I like discussing equipment.
