Beat Fight #373

Thanks @2GooD Productions !!

It didn’t start off as a disco track but I’m happy with how it came out. I was trying to be mindful on the placement and prominence of each instrument…and you don’t know how hard it was for me to keep the guitars towards the background lol.
I think technically its the best beat I've ever heard from you. Love the panning, the mixing, and everything about it. Its not even disco, it just has that 70's vibe, which I really love. The Bee Gees are some of the best songwriters in musical history, so I don't say it lightly. I would hope that in some way I have influenced your decision to pay such attention to the small details. This beat is an inspiration to me for sure.

I really appreciate this! I agree that the Bee Gees are great song writers. 70s/Disco/MoTown was my mum’s hey-day, so I grew up with that era of music always being played in the house.

100% your arrangement, mixes, and meticulously crafted beats are a huge influence…so thank you!

A'ight, @BiggChev bro, you're next up. Tomblr's gonna be a tuff act to follow ngl.

This is real nice. Already getting me ready to dig into my disco bag. Even tho they're closely linked, I'm feeling both disco, funk, and soul all hitting me. Feels like this should be a theme song for some mega cool fucking movie or series. Like The Wire, the 70s version. That'd be fucking sick.

Mmm loving the vibes around the 2.30 mark.

This could be like vocal'd by some cool af artist, one of them wailing bluesy artists. Or some Aloe Blacc or Leon Bridges, or , i dunno some fat dude who sing with emotion.

Good work

Thanks @Iron Keys !

@Tomblr - the kick and bass on this is fucking deadly! I love the vibe of this beat. There's almost an Alchemist/Havoc quality to it. Specifically how they can take a soulful sample, like the one you used, and bring out all the dark edges and turn it into a hood anthem. I agree with Iron, this is a Warzone ready beat. Dope!
