Thanks. I used a vinyl simulation. I forget which plugin I used because there is a variety of them.@V.J. Retro
I really like the sample and that early 2000s style flip. The scratches are cool and add a little extra flavour. The transition into the second phrase sounded a bit abrupt, but still works. Did you sample this from vinyl or use a vinyl sim on it? It's hard to tell if that 'crackle/pop' is baked in or a plug in of sorts sitting on top. I really liked the 404/DJ style FX, but felt they cut a bit too hard. Even the kick felt a bit over compressed...which is weird because it does kinda suit the era of this sound. I fucks with it!

I dig this vibe. It has that pseudo-horror vibe that a lot of trap has. But then that lift at 0:47 -ooooooweee! This has a blend of Mannie Fresh, Modern Trap, and Neptunes....really cool! One of the better mixes I've heard from you overall.
Again, you have a great sense of melody. I don't think we could ever collab on a beat, because we have such different tastes in sound/sample selection lol. Overall, really enjoyed this, especially that dubby outro.
