The only issue I have with this is right away everyone is going to compare it to Doggystyle. As far as Dre's beats the past few years, they're nothing special. They sound nice but I've said for years that he seems to focus too much on the engineering side and getting that clean sound, rather than focusing on the production (and samples, if any).

Apart from a few notable exceptions, like Murder Was The Case, 187, Gin and Juice and a few others, Ive never been a huge snoop fan anyway.

Hard Knock Life was corny but Doggy Dogg World was smooth. The whole album was dope. Dre was at the top of his game.
