First you need a resume..You would have to give some joints away if you have connections then charge very little ..you can't ask for big money if you don't have a track record then you wont get any where near top dollar for your stuff once you get a few hits under your belt then you can go from 2500-30,000 and better but you have to make that connection with someone that can get you heard...The only way a producer gets signed is as a in house producer to a lable or to a production company

aight check dis. im plannin on startin a record label rite. but to start off with im goin to produce myself first, i had a couple marketin and small business management classes, so i know a lil some some about distribution, promotion and u know the basics. do yall think this is a good idea?
