Beat This!The next Beat This! Competition is from May 15-16th!
This literally has elements of all my favourite genres/styles of hip-hop!
Drum breaks, vocal chops, synths....you got everything in there. That being said, the bass line seems off key? Not sure if thats some synth modulation or what, but it sounds a bit out of place. It's a nice line, just doesn't fit harmonically.
Some fine carving in the mix might help give each, of many, elements their place in the palette. The reverbs, and releases of some instruments bleed into others muddying the mix.
Unique tune, with lots of interesting elements.
