Midi timing is off..

My midi timing comes in too early in ableton live 6. I use an mpd24 to punch in my drums but the midi blocks show up to early in my sequencer..

This irritates the shit out of me..

Anyone got any suggestions on how to fix this?

Didn't you have this problem in Cubase as well? It must be something in the settings, no?

sounds like a latency issue. try your midi trigger in another program to see if the timing problem excists outside of ableton.

I did a search in the ableton live forums, it's an ableton live problem, they can't get hardware and software to properly sync.. there's lots of discussion on the net bout this issue..

It did work in Cubase SX3
