There's Prime, Artist, and Professional. Prime is the free version, so if you're looking for a new DAW or just something to mess with, give it a shot.

Some of the features:
  • Single-window work environment with drag-and-drop functionality and multi-touch support
  • Unlimited audio tracks, MIDI tracks, buses, and FX channels
  • Presence XT expandable sampler with essential sound library
  • 9 Audio Native Effects, including Ampire, Beat Delay, Chorus, MixVerb and more.
Here are all the features of Studio One but they might not apply to the free version since it's of course, limited. What, did you think it would be an all-out, everything-included DAW? Ha!

Anyway, looks good.

Well it's built by some of the former cubase team so they know what they are doing. Presonus is a company that stays very close to music unlike avid for example. Studio one has so many great ideas and workflows it's hard to describe. Drag and drop, how vst plugin windows are handled. Scratch pad and arranger are awesome. Arranger is like blocks for reason and I really like that. The mastering workflow is second to none in studio one. It has a bit more growing pains to go through but overall it's the daw to watch.
