Tips on mastering in Cubase

Yes, Cubase is nice man...I use it mainly for mastering, but I haven't had a chance to work on Cubase 7 it looks really interesting, it has a new Mixer and some new plugins....Thanks for the post

I've been a Cubase users for years and still am one today. I swear by it.

Cubase has the best raw midi sequencer on the planet, its very amazing. That's why you see so many big film composers using it.

Now general workflow of cubase....ehhh Give me Live or Reason any day.

Studio One is soooo much better for mastering.

But if I need to score a film, Cubase is the way to go.

oh and hardware dongle protection. BOOOO!!!

It's really a matter of preference but since I've used Cubase for so long, I know it like the back of my hand. The work flow is very intuitive for me and it is a very flexible DAW...the editing capabilities are amazing. As with any DAW, you're definitely gonna want to have a PC with lots of CPU to run it effectively.
