2 good- the original flip was cool my dude. I felt that some of the synth sounds were a lil harsh at times for such a jazzy sample, but at the end of the day it was decent. Now flip 2 I felt the bounce a lil more...this is dope. Nice comp also. I felt the 2nd flip more.

No doubt, thanks for the feedback, actually I was shooting for a sparactic flow to give it more of a hip hopish flavor to it. The original flip sounded too much like a regular song with a revamped beat behind it to me. I will work on my chops though, I know I've got plenty of room for improvement. Good looking out.

first flip - this is ok. too much like the original for me. i like the synths you added. they fit well.
second flip - i like this one better. it still has that 80's feel to it.

skidflow: this is ok. it sounds clunky. i'm not really feeling the sample that much this time around, so i think all the flips aren't hitting me that well.


dac: the most cohesive flip so far, very smooth, but again it just sounds like the original track.



i think i'll try and flip this sometime today

I agree merc, I think I got this "2 bar" syndrome, and I know better...Whats happening is I'm spending alot of time getting the drums on point and rushing on the sample. Main thing is...I'm learning thanks to you guys and I'm not gonna quit grinding until I make all y'all bop ya heads!

Dacalion. Started out nice and funky, but it loses itself along the way. Changes up far too much and there is no point to just get into it. Id take a much more simple approach with the chops, IMO

i ended chopping out bits and pieces between the drums. it turned out ok, i think. i still hate the sample, but it was a good challenge.
