When leasing beats, how do you know when someone has reached their leasing limit?

So I'm getting ready to start selling beats online, and I'm trying to figure out leasing.

There's a BusyWorksBeats video where he goes through beat seeing websites and notes that everyone has limits on leasing but don't actually specify how they or the customer would track the number of plays/ copies needed before one needs to repurchase a new lease.

Start at 10:50.

And it's this that has me wondering, how do you and your customer track that anyway? Hope people stick to the contract? Scout's Honour?

He says that you will have to have them agree to a contract first, but as for tracking..
I think this would would be handled through the use of a Performance Rights Organization(PRO) such as ASCAP or BMI.
