Chops are on point but i went through almost the entire beat thinking it was an intro waiting for the beat to drop. I think you need to beef up the drums a bit more, add some type of bass element and you'll be set. What resources are you currently using to make beats if you don't mind me asking?

Thanks, I mostly use FL Studio with Sound Forge right now.

I just listened to my shit again, and it definitely does sound like the beat never drops. I'm gonna go back in and refine this.
