I really like his compositions, but not a fan of the 8-bit thing. It could sound so much better with "normal" instruments IMO.

Beat #1: Good synth. Drums blend well but the beat is a bit too heavy in the mix. It's good, I just would like to hear a little something else to change it up.

Beat #2: This is very good with the percussion but I'd definitely like to hear more of that melody.

Beat 1:
I really like the laid back chords on this. Not a fan of trap style drum patterns. I like that the sounds evolve and and push the beat forward. That being said, outside of added layers, it's lacking a B section or significant enough changes to really keep it moving forward.

Beat 2:
Creative, different, and interesting. The chip tune voice really takes away from the melody. There's quite of cool "music" in here. I think the choice of sounds take away from it. Unlike Beat 1, this has clear A/B sections and move nicely between them.
