How Beat Fights! Works

Beat Fights! is meant to have a crazy, off-the-wall vibe, similar to the movie Fight Club. Members can upload their beats and members can vote in a poll for who they think has the best beat.

Beat Fights! is a one-on-one beat battle featuring IllMuzik members. Each battle is posted on YouTube, where anyone can vote at the end of the video. IllMuzik members can also vote in the forums.

Rules

You can use whatever sounds you want, synths, just remember to read the rest of the restrictions. What we are looking for is originality, creativity, mixing skills and overall dopeness!

You can have samples in your beats but just keep in mind that YouTube might flag it for copyright, which means it may be a problem. So if you're using samples, try not to have your sample be so obvious. Chop it, add effects, just don't keep the sample in its original form.

1. Your beats must be angry/mean! It's a FIGHT!
2. You can upload up to 3 beats each cycle.
3. Every time your beat is used, a slot opens up out of 3.
4. Your beat cannot be longer than 2 minutes!
5. File limit is 8MB and MP3 format.
6. You CANNOT have tags in your beats!
7. The winner of each competition will receive a custom title underneath their name in the Forums and points.
