@JECHO - this really appeals to my metal, particularly my thrash metal, sensibilities. Love the riff! While I like the drum pattern, some strategic sidechain, and extra punch on the kick would help to give it some extra "groove". I love anything that really pushes the boundaries, and this really does speaks to my preferences - outside of hip-hop - so I rate that.
@P.A.T. - another great demonstration of melody and instrumentation. I'm really coming around to this style of drums. I think they really suit this beat nicely. The key changes/modulations are smart way to move the energy of the beat forward. Really digging the "musicality" of this beat.
Both well done, both unique, and both worth listening to a few times over.
