both good, my prference goes to @JECHO - as music I don't think the @DJ Excellence beast is worst at all. It's the sound. @JECHO's beat (again , I learned 22 secs can be enough to fully appreciate a beat) has here the sound here I would like to have in my lofi beats

just discovered that short timing is a glitch I have sometimes, let me check the other "short" beats I listened to...

@DJ Excellence - that brass and low piano are soo dope! I really like the drums on this. In fact, I think your last few beats have all had really nice drums. Of course there's the quintessential boom-bap feel to them...but I also like the space. They sound like they're sitting in a nice spacey room. How you balance the reverb and dimension on the drums is nice. Overall, I really like the ambience and vibe of this. It's dark, but not 'horror-core' dark. Very nicely done mon frere.

@JECHO - Despite having already heard this beat, I still think it still sounds fresh. The crackle and texture on the drums are really nice! I think I mentioned already I think it's maybe a bit too much, but that could just be a personal taste thing. When I picked this sample for Fast-Flip-Friday, I did not envision anyone taking it in this direction. It's got a playful energy and bounce to it that could go in multiple directions depending on who's rapping on it.
