@Armani - mysterious, dark, and almost a bit folksy. There's a level of suspense here that's quite nice and got me to sit up in my chair. That said, I was waiting to see where that suspense went. You did a clever build towards the end dropping out the drums, but the pay off was a few scratches and a wind down?
@2GooD Productions - Dope drums, that toy piano/chime/mallet line on the down beats is cool. Not a ton of melodic variation but stacked on the pads/strings creates a really emotive harmonic quality. I like the little congas/bongos tucked in there for some extra flavour. I think the rhodes was a bit too forward in the mix, but I did like the panning delay on it. I liked this a lot. The bass line is simple but effective and all the shimmery/metallic/resonate elements really build out the atmosphere of the beat.
