@DJ Excellence Hard! love the strings and that dark feel it brings, Energy crazy on it.. mix solid. Sounds very good. @Fury Beats This shit cool. I like the idea.. drums are too weak though I think.

The drums/percussion are there to keep movement and rhythm, not necessarily to hit hard like boom bap or trap drums. In hip hop, the kick and snare are often one of the main focal points of the song. In bachata, the percussion usually supports the guitars rather than dominates them.@DJ Excellence Hard! love the strings and that dark feel it brings, Energy crazy on it.. mix solid. I get what you mean. I was judging it from a hip hop battle perspective where drums usually knock more. But I see the groove approach you went forThe drums/percussion are there to keep movement and rhythm, not necessarily to hit hard like boom bap or trap drums. A good way to think about it:
- Hip hop drums = punch, knock, attitude
- Bachata drums/percussion = swing, bounce, dance feel
