@BiggChev - good work, really solid well rounded piece of music.
For me, my only issue I picked up with it, was that the drums, as nice as they are, felt more 'rock' than hip-hop. It's definitely possible to use rock type drums in hip-hop, but there's definitely a way to mix or craft them to hit more this side of the fence. Also fine if your intention was as they sounded, as they sound great, just a different vibe.
I voted for @Bandia Gotach there was just something weird and comfortingly unsettling about the melodies and sounds. Nice work.
Lot of solid work in this battle too, really liked @Dusty B 's beat, think his mind was working in the right way in his approach to this production, I was notably impressed by the beat.
Lot of beats with cool drum patterns, or good mixes, and a variety of positives. I had to come back to it later to vote, had to really listen for what was catching me 'cause there were plenty worth options.

The inspiration for this track was Rage Against The Machine. In fact, I lifted the drum patterns, whole sale, from Bulls On Parade. There's an almost industrial quality to that Evil Empire record that I thought would fit the theme. I did have a moment of thinking, they were too rock so I went back and layered in more traditionally hip-hop drums underneath. I think the miss here was not committing to a sound one way or the other. I do think they sound good, but yeah...maybe just a bit off on the vibe.

I started doing this after I lost a few beats, thought "wait a minute, ik the sample", looked up the sample in my pc, checked the date, started lookin for the beats I made in that week and hopeeeeeefully found it eventually.These days I name my beats after the song I sampled(if I sampled of course) so if I ever forget what I sampled, and may need to clear it at some point, its in the name.
non-sampled beats are fucked tho.

I could tell your beat, mostly because of the choice and use of sample you had. Had a feeling you might not be expectant, the synthy element sounded a little too friendly for the theme.

Yeah I was pretty pleased with this one. It literally sounded pretty much how I had it in my head, and pretty immediately.
I suppose cinematic would be a better descriptor.
