true, but I voted @E.D Probably @BiggChev did more hard work and did more stuff, the other beat sounds more simple to me. But it got more soul. Be ready @BiggChev I'm coming with a challenge for you very soon and if you got tired of all these battles maybe I have my chance. This is my strategy!

Both beats are dope. I voted @E.D . Is that a straight up break? Think I recognise it. @BiggChev I feel your sounds were good but it lacked swing and groove. It was all perfectly on the grid. In fact I'd say it was distinctly more Rock than Hip Hop and probably why I preferred WazDoggy Dogg.

This is a beat from back in May. I had spent a whole day working on these drums in the MPC 1000. When I tracked them out to logic I realized the swing in the snares were different than the rest of the drums. Ended up trying to shuffle it around just to make it worse….so I put everything back to the grid.

These mixes are fairly decent, but they're quiet and need to be a bit more forward!

You're right its not but why would I put a real battle beat in beat fight when everybody beat is slow, medium tempo or theatric. I put a real uptempo beat fight material in here twice and lost to a slow unmixed beat

Beat is cool, it's has alot of jazzy vibes to it, if there is one thing 'negative' i have to say about it
Sometimes i was missing a little change up with the melody

You are In the beginning of me joining iLL I thought it was going to be hardcore battlers in here but when I was lost to non battle type beats. I was like ooh mostly everyone in here is just in song mode beats. So I changed how I summit beats in here and I still lost

That’s why I stayed away from the battles because I could never get hard hitting beats. I was off in the corner making my little jazzy guitar stuff.

I like Beat Fights because you can kinda match the person’s style or chose to bring something different (like I did with @attila )Lofi vs lofi or trap vs boombap.

I the 1 vs 1 format is fun.
