Anyway EQ'ing is mainly used (i think) for crisping up the sound a little bit
But the compressor makes drums sound way harder.

but yeah doing a house beat with FL is extremely easy. I don't like the basic FL packs but any Pop sounding kick with a nice compressor might do the trick...
and adding a little reverb/ delay to like a rhodes or something will also give it a kind of housey feel...

But I have tried using Adobe Audition's Equalizer and the Center Channel Extractor, I've played around with them whithout getting any good results. Is there any other program/ technique that might help me...
Well I bought this keystation (It's a usb keyboard) yesterday and it hooks up just fine to FL Studio. However, Reason doesn't seem to recognize the keyboard and it's really annoying. What should I do?
(I didn't connect it through a MIDI port, was that the problem?)
