    I use an mpc 2000xl to make my beats. arturia microbrute (mono synth) for my basslines and logic x to mix down. i like my setup right now, im quick with it and the work flow is never a dull moment. just need to get better at mixing aha

    not that im any athourity on mixing, but for me the biggest differences in my track are from panning and eq with a bit of compression where necessary. these are the most important things in my opinion because the will create a space for everything in the track. everything else is just frosting...

I feel like ive said this on alot of posts already but i think stuf thats not so quantized sounds better(just my opinion) but then again the alchemist is dope as fuck and he quantize all his shit. anywho i think the beat is ill as fuck but adding some dynamic change with ur kick and hihat...

    so dope man! i really like the layers with the percussion with the ride bell, hatz and brushes. groove is dope to, i love when drums aren't so quantized. only suggestion would be to have a longer drum pattern, but i feel like thats just a preference thing. keep at it!
