    Mostly just 8th notes. Sometimes I do 2 16th notes before a snare hit. It all depends on the type of beat.

    So the only thing I really need to make my beats sound perfect now, is how to make the bass hits not over lap each other. For example with 808's, if one hit comes almost directly after the other; the bass doesn't really sound that good. I don't really know how to explain this well, but any tips...

    @HzBeast BLG, I usually don't use arps cause to me it seems like they're used often by a lot of people, I just liked the way it sounded. And that beats coo, it goes together well but repetitive, but that's how a lot of old school beats are anyways.

    Oh, okay yea I gotchu bro. I know that beat is pretty busy but that was one of the few trap beats I've made and I'm just starting to play with different shit on FL. And yea I like heavy bass that bumps.
