Who still digs?
I dig. Probably got about 700 records or so, although we dont have a single store selling vinyl in my town (population only 15000). Just try to get to know a lot of old people who are ready to give or sell their collection. I never loop though. -

Sampling vinyl question
Two reasons why I dont sample from mp3's: 1. Mp3's sound quality is poorer than the sound quality on vinyl or cd. Thats the reason why mp3 files are so much smaller than waves, they're compressed. Try downloading a song that you already got on a cd, burn it to cd and compare. 2. I sample... -

how long do you normally spend on a track
I'll finish a beat in like one or two weeks. Sometimes it takes me over a month. I really have to doubt the quality of the music made in fifteen minutes. -

Cubase sx 2,0 problem
Here's my problem. I installed cubase a few days ago an it doesnt seem to work with my soundcard, although its supposed to. I have a M-audio Audiophile Usb soundcard. It seems as if the sound goes into cubase, but cubase doesnt send the sound to my soundcard. Can anybody help me here. -

Scsi cd drive for mpc problem.
so if you have a cd-drive connected to your mpc its only meant for reading cd's, not storring data on the cds? -

Scsi cd drive for mpc problem.
Ok, I got a Mitshubishi chemical, external cd-rw, and when i hook it up do my mpc the mpc goes like:"Scsi read error". Anyone here who knows if this is a problem i can fix or maybe the cd-rw doesnt work with my mpc. Its a mpc2000 non xl. Help appreciated. -
