The signups will be on June 8th at around 8am ET, and end around 8pm ET. Voting will be for 1 day, on June 9th, where the results will be posted the same day.

You can use whatever sounds you want, samples, synths, just remember to read the rules for the rest of the restrictions. What the judges will be looking for is originality, creativity, mixing skills and overall dopeness!

Yea there is definitely some dope shit on this one.

So many good beats. I like most of them, but i wanna pick out @oninkaf and @Bugsy. They killed this shit. I dunno about @hardboiled. His beat is so dope, but i can't imagine MC on this beat, cuz it's so tight mix and no space for mc. In my opinion, of course.

Like that beat @Jordan sounds clean.

I'm kinda feelin @Klole Johnson beat. I can def hear some sissy Drake shit all over that. Thats props even if it doesn't sound like it lol.

Im at work so I cant listen to the beats at the moment. Cant wait to get home, pop a beer open and relax with the beats

Oh there will be a rapper on it! I have a group called Rapscallion Rascals and every one of my beats is geared towards song making.

It isn't a lot really if you think about it. It's what alot of beats now are missing melody, rhythm, and character/soul due to rhythm and melody changeups like how actual music has. AND we're bringing respect back to producers as I'm the DJ for the group whose won and been in DMC and other DJ battles so it's all 50/50 with me and the rapper as it should be with any beats your making with rappers.

Since producers do alot of the work we should get credit and be respected for SKILLS. Since producing isn't recognized so much it's easy for me to do high level scratches since people recognize that a little more and tend to confuse DJing with producing, but the effect is people recognize the DJ/producer as part of the group. And it goes without saying I help with the song writing, and if I don't agree with something in the song we work it out and vice versa. All my beats have a character to them that the song topics have to fit with VS some random lyrics like you hear on alot of hip POP now that sound plastic along with the beats. There's an energy about them that alot of people at shows compliment on, and it really comes down to making real music with lots of changeups with rhythm and melody, which of course effect how the rapper rhymes to them creating way more emotion that if the song just stays the same the whole time. So for me but not everyone's cup of tea it's about being respected enough to be part of a group and making real music via collaboration VS just selling beats to the highest bidder or just having a bunch of beats laying around waiting for a rapper to just come and use them.

Here's one example of a beat that has more going on and we make it work, so def follow us and stay tuned as we're deep into our 2nd EP. And I'm already done with 20 songs, 3 EPs worth, we're performing almost weekly, and working on the album so we'll be making those nostalgic songs and original tunes most definitely for a while:

@SimplisticVII - tight beat, great drive going on in the beat. It makes me want to grab a mic! This one is ready to be out there, and I'd love to hear what it becomes as a song.
