I think the sample work and trumpet are dope. However the drums just don't go well with the vibe of the instruments. I think keeping it simple is key here. Just kick snare kick snare and simple hi hats would do (maybe look for some jazzy one shots, add a brush or whatever). Let the instruments... -

Same here. When i'm stuck at a project (read lazy stoned) I tend to reiterate over some old beats and try to give it a better mix or make something new with the same sounds. -

Yep, i'm pretty sure it's hip hop... :LOL: But seriously though, I think for SC it doesn't make a big difference if you tag your beats. I guess only for the more established artists but still... Listened to a few of them and they're pretty dope. For how long have you been making beats? -

Transitioning from Software to Hardware Tools.
Interesting topic. I like a fast workflow with a lot of control over samples when it comes to making beats. So I prefer a DAW over an MPC or other hardware. But at the moment i'm thinking of buying an SLL fusion bus compressor (hardware) or something similar. The thing with all the software... -

Wanted to give this proper feedback because the fundamentals are there, but dunno what you did with the stereo image... Not a big fan of it TBH. Really trippy effect tho, could be cool to use on the end of a bar or sample cut for a change up, but wouldn't put it on the master bus. -
