Cool new mini Bluetooth midi controller.

I was wondering how expressive such small pads would be, it's hard to find decent expressive pads in a large size let alone small.

    Warzone Beat Battle - May 24-25, 2024

I really liked your beat, the way its constructed, the only thing that let it down for me was the snare timing, the snares feel a bit late at times.

My Name is Charles V. Check out my first beat upload?

I really like it, stays interesting and progresses and changes up nicely. Drums sound nice, bass works for me. I think a thicker kick that drops in and out from time to time would really work IMO.

This is really dope, I really like the way it progresses. Love that west coast synth. Drums sound really nice, havent got anything negative to say about it, except Id like it to be longer, to take me on a journey.

I recognize that piano riff, sounds like a midi version with a shit stock piano patch. In fact all the sounds sound stock, did you make this with fruity loops? Doesnt sound on par with anything else Ive heard from you. Needs more drums.

Question For The ILL Vets (And Noobs)

I started out djing, as I liked to be the one with the newest music that nobody else was playing. As I progressed I just picked up more skills, got better through practice, learned to scratch, it all got better and tighter through practice, lots and lots of practice, hours a day. If I fucked up...

Thoughts on my DnB/ Jungle Type Beats?

Drum and bass is a very technical genre, lots of mixing going on behind the scenes. Im going to go back to my Dua Lipa remix and make the drums a bit more interesting, as its basically a drum loop I made that plays out throughout the whole track. I want to make the fills a lot more interesting...

Recorded a full Album last weekend... Slap/Trash?

"Back on the Market". I like the composition and the panning on this, some of the sounds sound a bit stockish, mainly the strings on the left. Love the sound thats panned right. Dope flow too, you have personality on your delivery and your flow has a nice bounce to it, I was entertained. "Face...

Thoughts on my DnB/ Jungle Type Beats?

On 1620... Do you use side chained compression? If you sidechained the kick to that bass you can get some rhythmic pumping going on, it will break up the constant bassline and make it more rhythmically pleasing. That bass synth I think you could cut off some of the high end, the sound gets a bit...

    Anyone want their beat mixed?

Layering sounds isnt a bad thing to do, but do it with purpose, for example if something is lacking some clarity in the low end, adding a slight distortion layer to add some definition and presence to a bassline. Saturation does this. When layering try to have your frequency cuts set so that the...

    Anyone want their beat mixed?

I find they can sound a little boxy if I cut lower. Especially as I push my snares pretty hard. I find that a combination of clipping, compression and saturation makes sure they are not lacking.
