Yamaha RS-7000
What do you think about the RS-7000? I played around with one of these babies and have to admit that they are pretty nice. I like it better than the mpc and think that this is quite an alternative for those who don´t want an mpc and don´t like using a computer. -
Controlling the outboard
I would like to use FruityLoops for controlling my outboard. The step sequencer is finally communicating with my sampler, but it will trigger the tones with out releasing them. Depending on the sample loaded it can be pretty nasty (like a string sounding for 5 seconds). I finally ended up... -
Work with "used" samples?
How do you think about beats that are based on loops that have already been used in older productions? I happen to find lot of wicked stuff that has been used again, but don´t feel like using exaclty the same loop over again. I don´t want people to think, oh it´s the loop from dialated peoples...
