Interesting. Just curious how you heard about that, wondering if there are others Dre didn't want to release.
It makes me wonder if he feels like he needs to "prove" himself or something. But Compton ended up being way overproduced and hard to listen to because of that (IMO anyways).
It made him a billionaire so I get it. I would have loved to just hear stuff though. Then again some argue Eminem's brand degraded a bit by releasing so-so stuff. So IDK.
right lol. I'll still give it a listen but I'm sure it'll be like Compton (which I've only listened to maybe 2 times through). compared to 2001 that I had on repeat for years.
thanks guys, appreciate the feedback.
do you think it's too fast for vocals? this is 110 BPM, my comfort zone is usually slower 75-90 so it's a change for me and wasn't sure what kind of vocals would fit with it (if any).
have you had to deal with legal issues? obviously not asking for any details but just curious to learn about individual stories since you read a lot about this stuff on the Internet (but it's the Internet).
all of this here. I think this is good feedback to consider for future beats too, i.e. if you want a rapper over it, stripping down where needed. cool track!
